Axiom JDK, a supplier of the Russian Java platform, and Smart technologies Soft, a developer of digital solutions, announced the compatibility of their products. Load tests confirmed the correct joint operation of the Botsman containerization platform and the Axiom Runtime Container toolkit for creating Java containers. This technological cooperation will provide support and expansion of customer projects creating Java applications in a cloud and microservice environment.
Successful tests allow us to recommend the use of a comprehensive offer for containerized loads as part of the Botsman platform and lightweight Java containers Axiom JDK. Managing applications packed in containers creates an isolated environment for their launch, which simplifies deployment and scaling. Smart technologies Soft and Axiom JDK experts conducted tests of the operability and correct functioning of the products, as a result of which compatibility certificates were issued.
Axiom Runtime Container is a lightweight Java container. It is based on the Axiom Linux container OS and the Lite version of the Axiom JDK Java development and launch environment, specially optimized for clouds and microservices. The minimum size of such a Java container, including the OS and JDK, is only 41 MB, which is 12 times smaller than usual. The Botsman platform is a product that allows for the full automation of 0, 1 and 2 day operations for operating, setting up and configuring Kubernetes clusters for devops teams.
