A paper by Eliezer Masria, a prominent neuroscientist and head of the US National Institute on Aging, is suspected of having falsified images, and a widely cited paper on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases is suspected of being falsified.

Hundreds of books written by Eliezer Masria, a well-known scholar and authority in the field of neuroscience who serves as the head of the National Institute on Aging (NIA), one of the 27 research centers of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). In a long paper, the scientific journal Science points out that the image may have been faked.
