When you edit a video from Google Photos on an Android device, the editing tools will be displayed to the front.
Additionally, editing tools will be updated, including the ability to enhance color with a single tap, a trimming tool to cut out the exact footage you need, and a speed tool to easily create slow-motion footage by adjusting the playback speed.
In addition, the app also has a video editing function that uses AI, which can automatically trim the video, adjust the lighting, control the speed, track the subject’s motion, zoom in, etc. This AI function will be implemented in both the Android and iOS versions.
Google says, “These updates will be rolled out gradually starting September 24, 2024.”
