Google’s Pixel 9 might get an exciting feature sooner rather than later. According to AssembleDebugvia Android AuthorityGoogle is working on a new feature called ‘Call To-Do List,’ which was spotted in version 156.0.702757710 of the native phone app.
This feature seems to extract actionable items from call summaries and can turn them into to-do lists. The feature will reportedly work locally without relying on the cloud. It also seems to rely on the phone recording feature that allows users to create a summary of a phone call.
The report also indicates that the Pixel Call Screen functionality will show how many spam calls were ignored during the month in the Phone app.
It’s unclear when or if this feature will make it to your Pixel 9. I could see this feature being pretty good for forgetful people who can’t remember what they should do after a phone call.
