Meditation in virtual reality alleviated the symptoms of depression and anxiety

As part of a new job, experts worked with 25 people who were diagnosed with depression and anxiety and who were treated in a hospital in Indiana. The research group included 11 men and 14 women. Their average age was 42.1 years. They used virtual reality sets three times a week for 10 weeks in the spring of 2023. Each meditation session lasted 30 minutes.
