Shelepov Vladimir Alexandrovich
Biography
Vladimir was born on August 24, 1970.
He graduated from the Rostov Higher Military Command and Engineering School of Missile Forces with a degree in Aircraft Control Systems.
In 1996, he headed the management of the local IT company Service Technology.
In 1998, he was appointed to the position of General Director of ICS South.
In 2006, he took the position of vice president for regional development of the ICS group.

The creation of a new staff unit in the Asteros structure, as well as the formation of a practice of integrated security systems and anti-terrorism protection, are the next steps of the group to implement a long-term strategy aimed at industrial leadership in the engineering and IT infrastructure market.
In this position, Vladimir Shelepov was responsible for the development of the group’s business in the field of integrated security systems (ICS), paying special attention to sports, cultural and entertainment facilities. The functions of the top manager also included managing the development of new products and services for the company, building relationships with key vendors and customers, and monitoring the entire sales cycle.
The main focus was on implementing an integrated approach to ensuring the safety of facilities at all stages of their design, construction and operation – from risk analysis and drawing up a threat model to upgrading existing systems or their disposal. To achieve this, it was planned to expand the KSB practice by attracting process engineers, system architects and security consultants.
Vladimir Shelepov, who has been involved in the Sochi 2014 project for about 6 years, is well known in the Russian IT market. He has many years of experience managing security projects at large infrastructure sites. Under his leadership, concepts and design documentation for integrated security of the Olympic Park and the Main Media Center in Sochi were developed. Vladimir is responsible for the projects of the Sochi Formula 1 track, Hyatt hotel complexes in Vladivostok, Sochi and Rostov-on-Don, Adventure Park in the Imereti Lowland, etc.
The key projects of Asteros, the implementation of which Shelepov first of all joined, were the reconstruction and comprehensive development of the territory of the Moscow Dynamo stadium and the adjacent commercial zone, as well as the creation of the infrastructure of the Sochi Olympic Village.
Vladimir Shelepov is co-author of a book on the design and construction of sports facilities – “Football Stadiums”, presented by the Russian Association of Sports Facilities in May 2013.

Vladimir Shelepov has more than 20 years of experience in successfully implementing projects in the field of protecting critical infrastructure facilities throughout Russia, as well as extensive experience in ensuring the security of crowded places.
Under his leadership, projects were implemented to ensure the security of the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi 2014 and the FIFA World Cup™ in Russia 2018, which were recognized by the international community as the safest in the history of public events.
Vladimir’s achievements are marked by dozens of commendations and honorary diplomas, including commendations from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB and the Federal Security Service, as well as the honorary medal “Construction Glory”.
