The forestry group Sveza is investing in improving safety and working conditions for its employees. The company Sveza Resource has launched a telemedicine examination system at the logging site in Verkhnyaya Sinyachikha, Sverdlovsk Region. This was reported to CNews by representatives of Sveza.
“Sveza” pays special attention to the health and well-being of its employees. To this end, the group is implementing modern technologies for monitoring the physical condition of employees. Thus, remote medical examinations using special equipment were conducted for the first time at the production facility in Verkhnyaya Sinyachikha.
The innovation allows for a remote medical examination using an innovative computer program and built-in devices. The employee interacts with the doctor via the screen and takes the necessary tests, which include, for example, blood pressure measurement. The data is transmitted to the medical organization and the management of Sveza Resource in real time, which allows for a prompt assessment of the employee’s condition.
If all indicators are normal, the specialist is allowed to work. If deviations are detected, the employee is temporarily suspended from work duties and, if necessary, receives medical assistance, and his supervisor is immediately informed about this by e-mail.

“Previously, the company’s employees working on a rotational basis underwent a medical examination only once at the beginning of their shift. With the introduction of telemedicine, Sveza has made a big step forward, providing daily monitoring of the health of those who work in remote areas and do not have the opportunity to personally visit a doctor. Now, together with colleagues, we are actively testing the new product. I am confident that it will help improve occupational safety and identify health problems in employees in advance,” he said. Alexey Noga, Regional Head of Forest Management at Svezy Resource.
The new equipment allows for up to one thousand inspections per month. By winter 2024, Sveza plans to install similar monitoring systems at logging sites in other regions where the company operates.
