In 2023, specialists from JSC NBI performed work to support the information system for optimizing work on the wholesale electricity and capacity market (WECM SOR) of the generating company in order to ensure operability and productivity in accordance with the specified quality indicators and user support. Representatives of JSC NBI reported this to CNews.
As part of the project, employees of JSC NBI provided technical support for the system and carried out modifications to the optimization models of the thermal power plant. The tasks of updating the standard characteristics of the equipment with the ability to display graphs in Web and Excel formats were completed, and the standard characteristics of the equipment were adjusted taking into account its actual condition and the thermal schemes of the station were updated.
The SOR OREM information system is designed to optimize the operating modes of the station for the purpose of increasing marginal income.

Its tasks include: optimization of the station operating modes at various stages of work on the wholesale electricity and capacity market; calculation of key production indicators on the annual planning horizon; reporting and visualization; generation of production reports; generation of analytical reports; generation of reports for long-term planning; visualization of reporting form data on mnemonic diagrams; transfer of reporting data of individual types of calculations to related systems.
As a result of the project, 1021 user requests were processed, station model designs were improved, and existing calculation algorithms were modified to meet the customer’s needs.
